Hi! I'm a full-time designer, a pitbull mom, and freelance photographer in Rockford, Illinois.

I attended school at Bowling Green State University, where I was a cheerleader and student marketing photographer. Those 5 years were spent learning everything I could about photography, and I fell in LOVE.

After college I spent 3 years living in Las Vegas, Nevada working in Hospitality & Professional Sports. In 2023 I returned to my Midwest roots and relocated to Illinois. I now live in Rockford and work in Beloit, Wisconsin!

In the 8 years I've been a photographer, I've focused on making my clients feel as comfortable as possible. Everyone should feel good in front of the camera, and I'm here to help you feel your absolute BEST.

I love photography so much that I majored in it.

I’m a third-generation Bachelor’s of Science in Technology (both my dad and grandpa were engineers) and I majored in Visual Communication Technology specializing in Photography and Video from Bowling Green State University (Go Falcons!)

My program required three full-time internships to graduate, so before I even got my diploma, I worked as a paid photographer at OC Creative in DeKalb, IL, and I was a student marketing photographer for BGSU’s Marketing Department on campus. I learned from some of the best photojournalists and studio photographers in the business, and found a passion for sports photography.

Some Fun Facts About Me..

Not only am I a retired athlete, I’ve worked with athletes my whole career!

I spent 6 years as a gymnast and 11 years as a cheerleader, both sideline and competitive, including 2 all-star cheer gyms. My experience in a highly competitive environment, and the time spent on the sideline, fueled my passion for working in the sports industry. There is NO feeling like running around on the field with a camera while your team just made a comeback.

I have made some amazing memories working with incredible teams, including: Oakland Athletics, Las Vegas Aviators, Vegas Golden Knights, Harrisburg Senators, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Northern Illinois University, and Bowling Green State University

My boyfriend has a full-time role as Assistant Wrestling Coach at NIU. It’s so fun to go to duals & tournaments and cheer him on!

I’m a true Midwesterner

I was born and raised in rural Blissfield, Michigan, a close-knit farming community with a population around 3,000. My graduating class was 85 kids, and I’m so grateful to have been raised in such a down-to-earth and genuine community. I’m now in Illinois, having lived in DeKalb for the last 2.5 years and recently relocated to Rockford. Superman ice cream, sweet corn, cows, bonfires, county fairs…I love everything about a Midwest summer.

I work a 9-5

I’m a full-time corporate graphic designer in Beloit, Wisconsin. If you’ve ever been in Lucy’s Burger Bar or Bessie’s Diner, you may have seen some of my design work! With that being said, my availability is limited to evenings and weekends due to my work schedule!
