Belvidere Spencer Park Summer Session - Riley

Riley was one of my 2025 NIU grads and helped me model while she was home this summer!

Earlier this summer, I decided to start really focusing on perfecting my craft. I love my clients and capturing their best moments, but it’s been a long time since I’ve done a photo session for myself! I wanted to practice whimsical posing, candid moments, and explore a new location. Riley was the perfect model - and Spencer Park in Belvidere was the perfect spot!

We started in the prettiest tall grasses, where the trees filtered golden hour sunlight.

Posed movement is very in-style for senior portrait sessions right now! This grassy path was the perfect spot for Riley to spin and skip around, and she did such a great job creating those picture perfect moments.

We found the prettiest tall flowers too!

This session was the perfect mix of summer vibes and a floral fairytale.
